Pros

His speed is the standout asset, he can cover ground quickly, recover in behind when the defensive line is breached, and handle quick forwards who try to run in behind.

He reads danger well and responds quickly to loose balls or sudden turns from attackers. That helps him win 50/50s and limits opponents’ time on the ball in the box.

Solid fundamentals, positioning, tackling (when committed), and the basics of marking are reliable. He wins duels through timing and technique rather than pure brute force.

Strong and balanced; holds his ground in shoulder-to-shoulder duels, resists being pushed off the ball, and uses his body well to shepherd attackers away from goal.

Cons

Lack of power header trait, he’s not a real aerial weapon. On corners and set pieces he won’t be your primary attacking threat, and he can be less dominant in contested high balls on both ends.

Lack of dives into tackles trait, he tends not to go for risky, full-stretch tackles. That lowers his chance of mistimed slides and red cards, but it also means he may miss last-ditch challenges.

Alternatives

Final Verdict

Bremer is a high-value, modern centre-back for teams that prioritise speed, recovery, and solid defensive fundamentals. If your tactical plan relies on mobility, recovery speed, and clean, positional defending, Bremer is a very strong choice. If you instead need a brute aerial presence who wins every header and throws himself into tackles, you’ll want a different profile or a partner who delivers those traits.
