Frenkie de Jong is quick. His burst of acceleration makes him agile in tight spaces.

One of his most outstanding traits. De Jong has a midfielder's brain, his passing range is excellent, with consistent accuracy on both short and long passes.

De Jong feels smooth on the ball. His agility, balance, and ball control make it easy to move around defenders with simple left-stick dribbling.

He’s not a tank, but he’s strong enough to hold his own. His stamina stands out the most.

However, he plays more like a hybrid CDM/CM, and should be paired with a more defensively-minded midfielder to cover for his forward runs.
